Organized by: Technical Scientific Committee of IBE - Intermobility and Bus Expo, with the collaboration of TTG Travel Experience, Alleanza Mobilità Dolce, Rete Ferroviaria Italiana, Borghi più Belli d'Italia, GPF Inspiring Research
The conference aims to investigate the context and sustainable mobility solutions dedicated to slow tourists through 3 sessions of talks with a complementary slant. The first part is dedicated to research on new styles of tourist transportation and the bus travel experience. This will be followed by direct testimonies from the world of associations, manufacturers and tour operators about the difficulties and advantages of tourist mobility in hard-to-reach inland areas, whose only collective transportation is the bus. Rounding out the range of possibilities, the third session will present the Atlas of Soft Mobility in Italy, edited by AMODO and RFI, which aims to relate railway stations, cycleways and paths to the cultural heritage of the national territory.
