Andrea Poggio

Member of the national secretariat of Legambiente and head of the national direction in Milan. Animator of the Environmentally Friendly Innovation Award, the "Clean Up the World" campaign and the www.viviconstile.org website. In 1980 he was among the founders of the Legambiente association, and in 1993 he initiated the "Comuni Ricicloni" award. In 2001 he organized the first Italian car sharing service in Milan. Journalist, founder and editor (until 1984) of the monthly magazine La nuova ecologia.

He is author of the volumes Environmentalism (1996), Live with Style (2007), Traveling Light (2008), Green Life (2010), Sustainable Cities (2013), Green Mobility (2018), Choose the Right Oil (2021).
