Carlo Carminucci

Transport economist, since 1998 he has been director of the research sector of ISFORT - Advanced Institute of Education and Research for Transport. He deals with scenarios of the demand for mobility, local public transport, sustainable mobility policies in particular at the urban scale, participatory processes. In Isfort he is in charge of the "Audimob" Observatory on Italians’ mobility styles and behaviors, active since 2000, and of the Observatory on Sustainable Urban Mobility Policies - OPMUS, active since 2005. He coordinates the drafting of the Isfort annual report on the Italians mobility of (18 editions published from 2004 to 2021). 

Overall, he has directed about 200 research projects in transport and mobility, commissioned by public administrations (Regions, Provinces, Metropolitan cities, Municipalities, Agencies), public and private companies (in particular public transport companies), trade representatives (associations sectoral and territorial businesses, trade unions), international entities. He has participated as a speaker at over 150 conferences and seminars.
