Gian Piero Joime

Gian Piero Joime is professor of environmental and territorial economics at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the Guglielmo Marconi University of Rome.

He is a member of the scientific committee of Pomos, the Sustainable Mobility Hub of the La Sapienza University of Rome. He is a board member of the Grosseto University Centre. He is an expert partner and member of the scientific committee of the Fondazione per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile.

He is a board member of Ises Italia, the Italian section of the International Solar Energy 
Society. He is a founding partner and president of Freebatt srl, a company specialized in innovative projects and prototypes for storage systems for renewables and electric mobility. He is a member of the scientific committee of the Istituto Stato e Partecipazione. He is the author of several monographs and essays on energy and environmental policy.
