The seminar addresses a crucial issue: the regulation of services like carsharing, bikesharing, kickscooters, and e-scootersharing in urban mobility. The discussion will focus on whether these services should have public service obligations or operate entirely in the free market. Case studies will be analyzed to highlight the challenges and successes of different vehicle-sharing models. Special attention will be given to public support through demand incentives, including those in mobility bundles of MaaS solutions.
