8th National Conference on SUMP

The European Commission's recent Recommendation 550/23 introduced and promoted customised training courses in European countries to support cities in the challenging path of PUMS. But also the CIVITAS initiative has been and continues to be a point of reference and inspiration supported also by each single local CIVINET network, whose Forum in Parma in October will be the occasion to provide food for thought for this ^8th National Conference on PUMS. The update of the data of the National Observatory on SUMPs, of which the Conference is the main annual event, will be followed by a wide-ranging debate and comparison of Italian and European experiences, which will range from infrastructural to regulatory measures, but will also focus on information and communication actions functional to a new culture of urban mobility, also with the active involvement of school communities, central to the promotion and identification of interventions that encourage and promote sustainable mobility.
