Event with professional training credits from the Order of Engineers

The conference will deal with the technical and organisational problems arising from the grounding of effective policies for the sustainable development of LPT systems: bus fleets and recharging systems.

The intention was to compare the views of the supply side, manufacturers, and the demand side, LPT operators, over the two days, so that a real and constructive debate can take place in such a special and specific venue as IBE.

After the implementation per se of sustainability and with the push of the PNRR funds in recent years, a multitude of concrete actions have been implemented by LPT operators, which in many cases have modified aims compared to the first comparisons on the topic since the IBE 2018 on electric.

The analyses will focus on:

  • the vehicle supply market;
  • the framework agreements for the supply of systems: buses plus refuelling;
  • the services associated with the purchase of buses: spare parts, scheduled maintenance and full service;
  • How to acquire the necessary skills for maintenance;
  • The new digiatal technologies;
  • What are the management changes related to different types of buses;
  • The resilience of fleets for service delivery and regularity risks;
  • The end of the new bus supply business models that seemed to catch on only two years ago.

An attempt will be made to combine methodological aspects with empirical evidence in the field.

The accreditation of training credits for engineers is proof of the proposed technical level that is the aim of the two-day seminar.
Coordination will allow questions from the audience.
